Letter: Disappointed with representation

The Columbian
Published:

I attended the recent 49th Legislative District town hall meeting. Where do we come up with these radicals who want state banks and state auto insurance?

Where do these people come from who think getting rid of initiatives and referendums is a good idea? And on top of all that, since when was being a “progressive” something to be proud of, as Rep. Sharon Wylie, D-Vancouver, so strongly admitted. Last time I checked the progressive movement was a warm and fuzzy word used by the Communist Party here in the USA.
