Western Governors’ Association meets in Idaho



COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho (AP) — The Western Governors’ Association is meeting in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho this week.

The meeting runs Wednesday and Thursday in the Panhandle city.

The governors will hear presentations on forest health, increasing career opportunities for veterans, and reducing energy demand.

Wednesday’s keynote speech will be delivered by Boise State football coach Chris Petersen.
