SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — A summer program at Spokane Community College’s Felts Field facility is giving high school students an introduction to possible jobs in aerospace.
The three-week Summer Aerospace Workshop lets students work with airplane engines and materials. They also spend time in a plane and in the control tower at Spokane International Airport.
