SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — The San Francisco 49ers have tendered one-year contracts to three restricted free agents, safety Dashon Goldson, linebacker Manny Lawson and defensive end Ray McDonald.

The Niners also said Wednesday they tendered a one-year contract to exclusive rights free agent safety C.J. Spillman. That gives the franchise four of its potential free agents under contract for 2011 before the collective bargaining agreement is set to expire Thursday night.

This is an interesting time for the 49ers, who are trying to prepare under new coach Jim Harbaugh in spite of the unsettled labor situation.
