SEATTLE (AP) — Gusty winds are blowing through Western Washington, knocking out power in a few places as tree limbs hit electrical lines.

The National Weather Service reports a 50 mph gust along the Hood Canal and a 50 mph gust near Anacortes.

Puget Sound Energy reports scattered power outages in seven counties.

Seattle City Light reports 3,100 outages.

The city of Bellingham said a couple of streets are cordoned off because of downed lines.

After the gusts die down, forecasters expect winds and showers through Saturday in Western Washington.
