LONDON (AP) — Sebastian Coe has taken a break from organizing the London Olympics to take part in a comedy series about planning the 2012 Games.

The London 2012 chairman makes a cameo appearance in an episode of the BBC mock documentary series “Twenty Twelve.”

Referring to Britain’s version of the Academy Awards, Coe said that filming took “a very short part of my day, so I can’t say that a Bafta is on its way.”

Coe is a two-time Olympic gold medalist at 1,500 meters.

The six-part series will air on March 14. The British broadcaster hasn’t announced whether it has been sold to international broadcasters.

Australia’s ABC aired a similar comedy ahead of the 2000 Sydney Games. It took a satirical look at Olympic bureaucrats.
