MILWAUKEE (AP) — Jeremy Montgomery scored 16 points to lead Cleveland State to a 73-59 victory over Wright State on Friday in the quarterfinals of the Horizon League Tournament.

The Vikings (26-7) pulled out of reach late in the second half as Norris Cole scored 13 points in nine minutes. Cole finished with 15 points.

The Raiders (19-14) struggled early, going without a basket for the first 8 12 minutes, but they quickly came back to pull within 20-18 on a 3-pointer by Cole Darling.

Wright State got within a point twice before halftime, but they never tied it or led after that.

Troy Tabler and Vaughn Duggins led Wright State with 12 points each while Darling scored eight.

Trevon Harmon scored 14 points and Josh McCoy came off the bench to score 12 for the Vikings.

Cleveland State will face Butler on Saturday in the conference semifinals.
