Clark County Treasurer Doug Lasher said Thursday that first-half 2011 property tax statements have been mailed.

The statements include property tax levy amounts and special assessments.

Lasher said 108,796 statements have been mailed.

Property owners whose taxes are paid through a mortgage company will not receive a statement.

People who don’t pay through a mortgage company and who don’t receive a statement within 10 days should go to http://www.clark.wa.gov/treasurer or call 360-397-2252.

First-half property taxes are due Monday, May 2. The usual due date, April 30, falls on a Saturday.

The Treasurer’s Office is on the second floor of the Clark County Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St.

Payments should be mailed to: Clark County Treasurer, PO Box 9808, Vancouver, WA 98666-8808.

While property values have declined, many tax bills are up.

The biggest increases will be seen by people who live in the Battle Ground and Evergreen school districts because of ballot measures approved by voters last year.
