LOS ANGELES (AP) — Lakers forward Devin Ebanks is out for at least three weeks to rest a stress fracture in his left leg.

Ebanks said Friday night he hurt himself nearly four weeks ago, tumbling into some chairs during a three-on-three game after practice in Memphis.

The rookie from West Virginia played through the pain until Thursday’s practice, when he began limping.

Ebanks is averaging 3.1 points and 1.4 rebounds while playing in just 20 games with the Lakers. He starred during a stint with the D-League’s Bakersfield Jam, averaging 16.5 points and 7.7 rebounds in six games right after Christmas.

Lakers forward Matt Barnes was back in uniform for Friday’s game against Charlotte after missing 25 games following surgery on his right knee.
