SEATTLE (AP) — King County, Wash., prosecutors say a Portland, Ore., man charged with first-degree murder in a dispute over a woman is expected to be extradited to Seattle soon.

The Seattle Times says William Phillip Jr. is charged in the May 2010 slaying of Seth Frankel, a 41-year-old who produced videos for the city of Kent.

Frankel was found dead in his Auburn, Wash., duplex after his girlfriend called his landlord because she couldn’t reach him by phone. Charging papers say investigators were led to Phillip by Frankel’s girlfriend, who lives in Portland. The woman told investigators that she had recently broken up with Phillip after reconnecting with Frankel.

Court documents say detectives used cell phone records to track Phillip’s movements from Portland to Auburn on May 21. Investigators say Phillip’s DNA matched blood found on a hand towel left in Frankel’s living room.
