CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) — The Harvard basketball team gathered in its courtside lounge to watch Princeton beat Penn and force a tiebreaker for the Ivy League’s automatic berth in the NCAA tournament. Then they scattered to the various libraries and other quiet spots on campus to study for midterms.

The Crimson need one more win for their first NCAA berth since 1946. They’ll have to beat Princeton, which has won 26 Ivy titles. The two schools split their two regular-season meetings, with each team winning at home. The rubber match will be at a neutral site — Yale — on Saturday night.

The Ivy League is the only Division I conference that does not have a postseason tournament.
