Judge orders Seattle strip club to close

SEATTLE (AP) — A judge has ordered the Seattle strip club called Jiggles to close.

King County Superior Court Judge Suzanne Barnett on Friday granted an order sought by city attorneys who say the club violates a zoning buffer because it’s within 200 feet of a school, child care center, community center and park.

KIRO Radio reports that when owner Robert Davis opened Jiggles last December, he said all he needed was a business license. In February, Davis took out a half-page ad in a weekly paper saying the city “hates people who create jobs.” It said shutting down Jiggles puts 40 people out of work.
