LAS VEGAS (AP) — Adrienne Johnson scored 24 points to lead Louisiana Tech past Nevada 66-59 on Friday in the semifinals of the Western Athletic Conference tournament.
The top-seeded Bulldogs (24-6) led most of the way to advance to Saturday’s WAC championship game, where they will play the winner of the other semifinal between Fresno State and Utah State.
The fourth-seeded Wolfpack (21-10) got as close as 57-55 on a layup by Kate Kevorkan with 4:41 left.
But Jasmine Bendolph hit a 3-pointer with 3:24 to go that gave Louisiana Tech a 60-55 lead to seal the game.
