KHANTY-MANSIYSK, Russia (AP) — Magdalena Neuner of Germany claimed her second gold at the biathlon World Championships on Saturday, winning the women’s mass start race.

Neuner missed four targets but used her fast skiing to overcome four penalty loops and time 36 minutes, 48.5 seconds over the 12.5-kilometer course.

Darya Domracheva of Belarus came in 4.8 seconds behind for second, followed by Norway’s Tora Berger 14 seconds behind. Both biathletes missed three targets.

Neuner, a double Olympic champion in Vancouver, also won the sprint race a week ago.

A men’s 15K mass start was held later Saturday.
