LAS VEGAS (AP) — Sports books in Las Vegas have made Ohio State the favorite to win the NCAA tournament despite a tough draw that includes North Carolina, Syracuse and Kentucky in the same bracket.

Executive Director Jay Kornegay of the Las Vegas Hilton race and sports book said Sunday that his book made Ohio State a 7-2 favorite to win the tournament.

But Kornegay says the Buckeyes got a more difficult bracket than fellow No. 1 seed Pittsburgh, which has Florida, BYU and Wisconsin as the next-highest seeds in its region.

Kornegay says the Hilton is giving Pittsburgh 12-1 to win the title. The other No. 1 seeds, Kansas and Duke, are each 5-1 to win the tournament.

Oddsmaker Tony Sinisi of Las Vegas Sports Consultants says the firm sees Ohio State as the top team.
