An overturned tractor-trailer carrying recycled paper triggered a two-hour closure Monday morning on state Highway 14, four miles east of Washougal.

Rock Eggleston, 53, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, was cited for negligent driving. The wreck occurred at about 8:30 a.m.

According to a crash memo from the Washington State Patrol, Eggleston was westbound on the highway when he crossed the center line while following a curve to the right. He slid into a barrier on the shoulder and the truck fell to its side, dumping multi-colored recycled paper on the roadway and on the side of the road over an embankment.

Eggleston was not injured in the single-vehicle wreck.
