STORRS, Conn. (AP) — Connecticut football coach Paul Pasqualoni is holding his first practice with his new team.
The Huskies are coming off an 8-5 season and a berth in the Fiesta Bowl, where they lost to Oklahoma 48-20. The next day, coach Randy Edsall left for Maryland, leading to Pasqualoni’s hire.
The Huskies also have new offensive and defensive coordinators, but six assistants are returning from Edsall’s staff.
UConn also will be looking for key replacements on the field. Tailback Jordan Todman is leaving for the NFL after his junior year, and backup Robbie Frey has transferred.
