SNOQUALMIE PASS, Wash. (AP) — Washington Transportation Department officials say multiple spinouts and collisions due to heavy snowfall prompted them to close Interstate 90 over Snoqualmie Pass for hours Friday night.

The closure started at about 9 p.m.

One lane of eastbound I-90 reopened shortly before 11:30 p.m.

No serious injuries have been reported.
