STEVENSON
The Stevenson-Carson School District recently named its next superintendent.
Teena McDonald, superintendent of Republic School District in Republic, will replace William Hundley as Stevenson-Carson’s superintendent July 1. Hundley is retiring.
Prior to her selection, McDonald met with district staff and the public March 11-12. The district’s school board selected McDonald because she came across as “approachable, real, honest and well-prepared,” according to a district release.
Stevenson-Carson has two elementary schools, one middle school and one high school, plus one school that offers seventh through 12th grades for students younger than 20.
