SEATTLE (AP) — Starbucks Corp. will soon provide its customers free access to The Economist, Marvel Comics and more at its stores as part of its expanding digital network.

The coffee giant plans to announce the news Wednesday at its annual meeting in Seattle.

Starbucks already provides its customers free access to a number of subscription and Web services through the network it provides in stores. The company said it is adding The Economist, ESPN Insider Rumor Center, Marvel Digital Comics and Mediabistro as providers.

The company launched its digital service last year in nearly 7,000 company-operated U.S. cafes. Customers can use it for free with their computers, tablets or smartphones.
