SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) — Notre Dame will play a home football game at night for the first time in 21 years when the Irish host Southern California on Oct. 22.

The game will mark the first night game at Notre Dame Stadium since the Irish beat Michigan 28-24 in 1990.

Notre Dame will also raise prices for single-game tickets for three of its home games at Notre Dame Stadium. Tickets for games against Michigan State, USC and Boston College will be $80. Games against South Florida, Air Force and Navy will cost $70, the same as the single-game price last season.

Athletic director Jack Swarbrick said Wednesday that the pricing approach keeps games “affordable” and gives fans different options.
