School patron tour offered in April

Vancouver Public Schools is offering another free, public tour on April 15.

Guests can join Superintendent Steve Webb for a tour of Skyview and Columbia River high schools.

Highlights include Columbia River’s International Baccalaureate academic program and the Science, Math and Technology magnet program at Skyview.

The tour begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Robert C. Bates Center for Educational Leadership, 2921 Falk Road, next to Eleanor Roosevelt Elementary School, and concludes at noon.

A lunch prepared by students in the district’s award-winning culinary arts program is offered for $4, following the tour.
