INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — NFL commissioner Roger Goodell says the league is committed to playing this upcoming season’s Super Bowl in Indianapolis.

Goodell spent about 30 minutes on a conference call with Colts’ season ticket holders Wednesday night.

With about 4,200 ticket holders on the line, Goodell discussed questions ranging from the proposed 18-game regular season to concussions.

But what Indy fans are most interested in is the fate of next season and the city’s first Super Bowl.

Goodell says there is no drop-dead deadline to play the season though he did say things need to be done sooner rather than later to avoid any potential setbacks involving training camp and the preseason.
