PASADENA, Calif. (AP) — The city of Pasadena will host a new Rock ‘n Roll Half Marathon that starts and ends at the historic Rose Bowl stadium on Feb. 19.

The event will provide runners with a musically themed 13.1-mile course weaving through Pasadena’s historic landmarks and business districts. Olympic bronze medalist Deena Kastor was on hand for Wednesday’s announcement.

With the addition of Pasadena, the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series expands to 23 cities in the U.S. and Madrid, Spain.
