SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — A robbery suspect who was tracked down by a Spokane police dog told officers it did a good job.

KHQ reports the 22-year-old man told officers they would never have found him without the dog.

Police say he was one of two men who robbed a grocery store Wednesday night of cash and cigarettes. Responding officers arrest one man near the scene.

A K-9 officer and his dog Stryder tracked the other man to a garage and found him hiding under a mattress.
