WOODLAND, Wash. (AP) — A Cowlitz County, Wash., sheriff’s officer says the body of an adult woman has been recovered from the Columbia River near Woodland.

An autopsy is planned. Chief Criminal Deputy Charlie Rosenzweig tells the Daily News of Longview there are no signs of foul play.

A fisherman noticed the body shortly after noon Wednesday.

Identification found with the body is for a local woman but Rosenzweig said he did not have an official ID.
