Welcome to the first edition of The Columbian Asks. This might become an occasional feature in which we try to find out what's on the mind of Columbian.com users.

The first such question was prompted for several reasons. With the secrecy and differing stories about how Osama bin Laden was ultimately killed, we felt like there was a lot of room for conversation. So to that end, we're wondering what you might say to or tell the Navy SEALs who killed bin Laden early this week.

We encourage you to use your real name, and we might publish some answers in our print edition.

We welcome your comments, but please be mindful of the Columbian's community guidelines when posting.

Thanks!
