PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — The latest Fortune 500 list is out and there are only two Oregon-based companies on it — Nike and Precision Castparts.
The Oregonian reports that Nike placed No. 135 on the list, falling from No. 124 last year. Based in suburban Portland, the sports equipment and apparel company had revenues of slightly more than $19 billion.
Precision Castparts is based in Portland and makes complex metal components and products for the aerospace, power and industrial markets.
It had about $5.5 billion in sales to rank 409 this year on the Fortune 500 list, down from 325 last year.
