Showers, wind, cool temps expected this weekend

Consider Wednesday’s sunshine and blue skies a trailer for a blockbuster movie you can’t wait to see — and one that isn’t arriving this weekend.

Instead, the dreary weather season rolls on with dark clouds and showers, possibly rain.

The National Weather Service predicts today, at 58 degrees, will be the warmest it gets all weekend. Saturday and Sunday are both likely to peak at 57.

There’s a 50 percent chance of showers today, and light, southwest winds of about 6 to 9 miles per hour.

Unlike the temperature, the likelihood of rain goes slightly up on Saturday (80 percent) and Sunday (70 percent).
