YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) — A Horizon Air flight bound from Boise to Seattle landed Tuesday evening in Yakima, Wash. after the plane lost oil pressure in the right engine.
Alaska Airlines spokesman Paul McElroy says no injuries were reported among the 59 passengers and four crew members. He says the crew of the twin-turboprop Bombardier Q400 followed standard procedure in shutting down the affected engine and diverting to the nearest airport at about 6:30 p.m.
McElroy says a replacement plane sent from Seattle picked up the Flight 2363 passengers at about 8:45 p.m.
