ELLENSBURG, Wash. (AP) — A long-haul truck driver already convicted of rapes in Olympia and Reno, Nev., had a 53-year term added to his prison sentence in Ellensburg for raping a 9-year-old girl in the Japanese Garden at Central Washington University.
The Daily Record reports the sentence handed to Richard Duane Bunch on Monday in Kittitas County Superior Court is expected to keep the 52-year-old East Wenatchee man locked up for the rest of his life.
He was convicted of luring, kidnapping and child rape for the attacked on the girl in 2008 in Ellensburg.
Bunch was convicted in October of raping a 20-year-old college student at St. Martin’s University in Olympia. He was convicted in 2009 of raping a 13-year-old developmentally disabled girl in Washoe County, Nev.
