TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — A border activist already on death row for the 2009 killings of an Arizona man and his young daughter has been sentenced to another 78 years in prison.

Pima County prosecutors say Jason Eugene Bush was sentenced Friday for trying to murder the girl’s mother in the same home invasion case.

The 36-year-old Bush, of Washington state, was convicted in March and sentenced to die for the fatal shootings of 29-year-old Raul Junior Flores and Flores’ 9-year-old daughter Brisenia.

Flores’ wife Gina Gonzalez was shot several times but survived.

Prosecutors claim Bush and co-defendants Shawna Forde and Albert Gaxiola dressed as law enforcement officers and forced their way into the victims’ home in Arivaca, south of Tucson.

Forde was sentenced to death in February. Gaxiola goes on trial June 1.
