MANCHESTER, England (AP) — American sprinter Allyson Felix outclassed the rest of a four-woman field Sunday to win a straight 200-meter race on the streets of Manchester.

The three-time world 200 champion eased down the rain-lashed track in 22.12 seconds, helped by a 2.6 meter-per-second tail wind.

Felix crossed 1.23 seconds ahead of France’s Myriam Soumare. Joice Maduaka was third in 23.67 and Christine Ohuruogu, Olympic champion in the 400, was last in 24.48.

Felix says she is considering running in both the 200 and 400 at the Aug. 27-Sept. 4 world championships in Daegu, South Korea.

Felix says she is “thinking about the double. I’ll make a decision in a few months.”

She has to qualify for the U.S. team at the longer distance.
