Volcanoes win fourth straight basketball game

The Vancouver Volcanoes outscored the Olympia Reign 14-2 in overtime for a 113-101 International Basketball League victory Saturday at the O’Connell Center at Clark College.

Vancouver (4-1) led by as many as 19 points, but Olympia (3-4) crawled back into the game with a strong fourth quarter.

Vancouver’s Andre Murray led all scorers with 36 points on 11 of 22 shooting and 11 of 13 from the free-throw line. Devin Uskoski added 15 points and 15 rebounds, Brian Morris had 18 points and17 rebounds, and Lawrence Blackledge added 14 points.

The Volcanoes host the Portland Chinooks at 5 p.m. today at the O’Connell Center.
