Skills center team fourth at auto competition

Image — Two students from the Clark County Skills Center placed fourth in the Washington State Finals of the Ford/AAA Student Auto Skills competition. Dakota Berge and Maksim Salfetnikov represented their school in a race to correctly diagnosis and repair intentionally installed “bugs” on vehicles during the competition. They were judged on speed, accuracy and workmanship. The team was one of ten from Washington chosen to compete in the state finals. The team’s instructor was Dale Vandeberg.
