EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — An Everett woman has a special relationship with firefighters.
Kirsten Clark took her 1-year-old son to Fire Station No. 5 last week for pictures with the crew that delivered him last year when he wouldn’t wait for a ride to the hospital.
It’s a familiar story for Clark. Firefighters also delivered her in 1989.
The Daily Herald reports that Everett firefighters responded to 89 emergency childbirth calls last year and paramedics ended up delivering two of the babies.
