Volcanoes hold off Olympia Reign for win

Andre Murry had 28 points and five assists and Devin Uskoski had 18 points and 16 rebounds as the Vancouver Volcanoes took command in the third quarter and held on for a 116-100 International Basketball League win over the Olympia Reign on Tuesday at The Evergreen State College.
Olympia led 49-42 at halftime before Vancouver’s 39-23 burst in the third quarter.
Brad Lechtenberg scored 19 points, Lawrence Blackledge had 16, Kevin Bloodsaw added 15 and Brian Morris had 12.
Uskoski was 10 of 10 from the free throw line.
Nate Menefee scored a game-high 32 points for the Reign, and Bennard Abraham had 24 points and 12 rebounds.
