Body found in Spokane River

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) -- Investigators are checking missing person records as they try to identify a body recovered from the Spokane River near the Stevens-Spokane County line.
The Spokane sheriff's office says the body was spotted Thursday near the Nine Mile boat launch.
