A dump truck slammed into a power pole in east Vancouver, leaving lines down across the intersection at Southeast 172nd Avenue and Southeast 1st Street.
The Vancouver Fire Department and Clark Public Utilities District are on scene.
Kevin Stromberger, a firefighter-paramedic with Vancouver Fire, said only one lane of traffic is being allowed through the intersection.
"It’s a bottleneck to avoid," he said.
The PUD is waiting on a boom truck to replace the pole, Stromberg said.
