Northwest Pipe names officer, general counsel

Scott Montross has joined Vancouver-based Northwest Pipe Co. as chief operating officer and Richard Baum has been named the company’s general counsel.
Montross most recently served Evraz Inc. NA as executive vice president of the Flat Products Group, with commercial and operational responsibilities for the Oregon Steel Division, Claymont Steel Division and the Regina Steel Division.
Baum, formerly of Lane Powell in Portland, has focused his practice on the areas of securities and corporate governance litigation, antitrust and intellectual property.
