Police: 3 explosions rock Pakistani air base

KARACHI, Pakistan (AP) -- Police say three explosions have rocked an air force base in the southern Pakistani city of Karachi.
Rajah Omar Khitab, a senior police official in Karachi, says it is still unclear what caused the explosions late Sunday night and whether there are any casualties.
Hasan Ashmi, who lives close to the air force base, said he could see thick black smoke billowing from several places and also heard gunfire.
