SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — The Vancouver Canucks are without injured defensemen Christian Ehrhoff and Aaron Rome for Game 4 of the Western Conference final against San Jose.

Ehrhoff and Rome were hurt on hits by Jamie McGinn in Game 3 and did not suit up Sunday. Keith Ballard and Chris Tanev took their place in the lineup as the Canucks try to seize a 3-1 series lead.

Tanev hasn’t played since March 31 and didn’t even travel with the team to San Jose. He joined the Canucks on Saturday after the injuries to Ehrhoff and Rome the previous night. Ballard hasn’t played since Game 2 of the second-round series against Nashville.

The Sharks stuck with the same lineup that won Game 3, keeping McGinn, Andrew Desjardins and Jamal Mayers on the fourth line.
