LOS ANGELES (AP) — Police say that they have detained a suspect in the brutal beating of a San Francisco Giants fan after a game at Dodger Stadium.

Los Angeles Police Det. Jose Carillo says the suspect was among several people who were detained Sunday for questioning after police served search warrants at an apartment.

It’s unclear whether the others detained possible witnesses or suspects in the March 31 beating that left Brian Stow with brain damage, police say.

Stow, a 42-year-old paramedic and father of two, was beaten in a parking lot by two men in Dodgers gear after the season opener against the Giants. Police have said there are two suspects, but oo arrests have been made.
