AUBURN, Wash. (AP) — Police are looking for an armed 16-year-old after a shooting at a birthday celebration in Auburn, Wash., left another 16-year-old youth dead and wounded two other people.
Police Commander Mike Hirman says the two teens were involved in a dispute, possibly over a girl, just before the Sunday evening shooting. The King County medical examiner identified the victim as Adrian Wilson. Two other men were wounded. The Seattle Times says they are in serious condition at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
Police say the dead boy’s father, Gabriel Wilson, was arrested for investigation of first-degree assault. He’s accused of firing shots during the altercation.
