MILWAUKEE (AP) — The Milwaukee Brewers have claimed left-handed reliever Daniel Ray Herrera off waivers from Cincinnati to add a reliever to their injury-plagued bullpen.

The 26-year-old pitched with the Reds the previous three seasons and was in Triple-A this year. The Brewers assigned him to Triple-A Nashville.

Milwaukee currently has no left-handers in their bullpen.

Manny Parra (elbow) has not pitched this season, Zach Braddock’s return from a sleep disorder still isn’t certain after he cracked a fingernail before a rehab start on Monday and Mitch Stetter (left hip) was placed on the disabled list on May 15.
