Police about 3:15 p.m. today rushed to the scene of a pile-up involving six or more vehicles on Interstate 205 southbound near Southeast Mill Plain Boulevard in Cascade Park.

Because one person was said to be semi-conscious, the first emergency responders to arrive called for an ambulance to rush to the scene Code 3, meaning with emergency lights and sirens activated, according to emergency radio traffic monitored at The Columbian.

Later, a Washington State Patrol dispatcher said no one was reported hurt.

The crashes happened on the ramp from Mill Plain westbound to I-205 southbound and consisted of rear-enders and other fender benders.

Officers called for tow trucks to move the damaged vehicles, and other traffic was getting by fine, the dispatcher said.
