NEW YORK (AP) — Prize Catch edged Bet On the Blue by a nose Thursday in the $58,800 Key To The Bridge Stakes for fillies and mares on the turf at Belmont Park.
Prize Catch charged four-wide through the lane with Rajiv Maragh aboard for her third win in seven starts. The 4-year-old trained by Angel Penna, Jr. ran the 1 1-16 miles over the firm course in 1:43.11.
Prize Catch paid $7.50, $4.30 and $3.30. Bet On the Blue returned $4.50 and $3 while Box Office Queen paid $4.30 to show.
