VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) — Police say they have made an arrest in the slaying of a woman whose body was found near a highway on the border of Vancouver and Camas, Wash.
Vancouver police spokeswoman Kim Kapp says the victim is a 41-year-old Vancouver woman. Her name was not immediately released Thursday pending notification of relatives. Police have not said how she was killed.
The spokeswoman says 43-year-old Dennis L. Wolter was arrested for investigation of first-degree murder after a traffic stop in the area near where the body was found early Thursday.
Police are processing a separate Vancouver location where they believe the crime was committed.
Vancouver and Camas police are investigating.
