Body found on Newport OR lawn was Wash. man

NEWPORT, Ore. (AP) -- Authorities in Newport, Ore. say a body found on a lawn between Highway 101 and Wal-mart has been identified as that of a 29-year-old Snohomish, Wash., man.
KVAL reports the body of Mark L. Wendell was found Sunday. His identity was initially withheld pending notification of relatives.
The medical examiner has not yet determined a cause of death.
