Shotgun blast injures 3 in Lynnwood WA argument

LYNNWOOD, Wash. (AP) -- Police say a single shotgun blast injured three people during an argument outside a Lynnwood, Wash., apartment complex.

Lynnwood police spokeswoman Shannon Sessions said a 46-year-old Lynnwood woman was taken to a hospital Tuesday afternoon with non-life-threatening injuries. Two 21-year-old men were slightly injured.

Sessions says a 43-year-old Lynnwood woman was arrested for investigation of first-degree assault. The spokeswoman says it appears there has been an ongoing disagreement among a few area residents.

Several nearby schools were locked down for about an hour as police responded.
